Young and Rich : Tom Anderson : Founder of Myspace

Thomas "Tom" Anderson (born November 8, 1970) is an American entrepreneur. He co-founded the social networking website MySpace in 2003 with Chris DeWolfe.Anderson was previously president of MySpace, and is now a strategic adviser for the company.
Because newly created MySpace accounts previously included Tom as a default "friend," he has become known as the default picture of MySpace. In 2003, working for eUniverse under the purview of Brad Greenspan, he and a few other eUniverse employees set up the first pages of MySpace, and the site grew from there. It is currently one of the most popular social networking websites in the United States (currently listing in slot no. 43 of Alexa Top 500 Global Sites).

Before MySpace, Anderson got his start at Intermix (formerly eUniverse) where he worked on a series of profitable internet ventures.eUniverse made money running spyware and spam operations, as well as selling subscription skin medication, made famous by the ubiquitous "Better than Botox?" ads. Anderson also made money channeling click-throughs with his Asian porn website TeamAsian.com, which later became an issue with Rupert Murdoch after MySpace's acquisition. It should be noted as well that Anderson was a popular hacker using the identity Lord Flathead, in the early 1980s. It wasn't until 1985 after hacking into a Chase National Bank server that the heat grew to be a bit much for Lord Flathead and he was subsequently caught, however, no record of prosecution has ever been found.
